Question Best way to get Alabama tickets?

I apologize if this has been discussed before, but some friends and I are planning a road trip to Rocky Top for the Bama game. Am I already too late to buy tickets? Am I stuck dealing with scalpers? If so, am I better off waiting to see whether the Vols beat Florida and/or Georgia before trying to buy second hand seats?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Check on ebay. Sometimes you can get some pretty good deals. Ticket outlets are usually too high.

I've never had a problem getting in cheap when I didn't have a ticket.

After Florida, most definitely. After Georgia, maybe.

Before the game starts, jump a group af bama fans and steal their tickets. Then trade them so the people sitting around them don't recognize you once you're on the inside. Since its in knoxville this year you may not have to trade tickets unless you just want to sit in a non visitor section.

you could just wait til bama loss its first couple of games then offer to buy them.
That would not be near as much fun.

I've always took a couple friends who didn't have tickets, and they have never paid over $100 scalping. If unfortunately we have 2 or 3 losses, your golden. I saw an $8 ticket 10 mins before kickoff at the Arkansas game last year. So go for it.

No kidding. I was at that game, and somebody tried to give me a block of three as I was walking up to the gate. That was sad, actually.

I was looking this weekend, E bay offers are expensive, $400 for a pair. Depending on how far you have to travel looking for a scalper prior to game time might be best tactic. I won't travel 6 hours to rely on scalper. I can't afford the $ on ebay at this time. Good luck and when you see The Great Satan/saban...tell him bama for me. GO VOLS

In 2006, a couple of my bama friends got upper level seats for $80 a piece. My advice would be that if you really wanna go, take in to consideration all that could happen before then, and decide a safe and comfortable amount based on the risk. And then tell every single bama and vol you know that you are shopping. Hopefully, you will find a tix in your price range, and since you are comfortable paying X amount regardless, the value can only increase up until the game. I've seen way too many good deals on gameday to ever think about paying premiums on internet sites.
