| Exactly... it should be no surprise. It isn't a bad thing to go get other opinions from fans outside of Big Orange Country, but you shouldn't drop in awe if what they say isn't good about UT. |

| This just sounds like one more KY fan that's butt-hurt over the growing trend of UT's program overshadowing KY's.
Here- take one. |

Pearl is drinking shots while laughing at Kentucky. It's all good. KY are whiners. |

Put it this way, I winced when Spurrier made some of his quips and what not, but it worked for UF. Can't say as I blame UT fans for being happy with Pearl. | I agree that he is doing this to build excitement, not to necessarily promote himself. I will take issue with any comparison of Bruce Pearl to Steve Spurrier with regard to their character. Steve Spurrier ingeniously fostered a "the world hates the Gators" mentality. While he was humble when he lost (which wasn't often), when he won he would twist the knife regarding his opponents. That is the one thing i always objected to. To me that is bad sportsmanship and say what you will about Coach Fulmer but he is always gracious and never, ever demeaning about an opponent.
There, I feel better. The meds are kicking in. |

So, in the end he didn't really out anybody and raised a big stink. I would say out of all the SEC coaches he is the one who most needs to avoid making any mistakes in his recruiting of players. |

| I was advised by a uk fan earlier today that we needed to "stop taking their players". My response... "We aren’t taking them so much as they’re trying to get away from Kentucky I think. It might be that the blue mist is now more indicative of a sorrowful outlook than a historic past. " She hasn't talked to me since. |

I agree. If he wants to be critical of other coaches ethics then he needs to be the model of ethical integrity. And guess what? He is! There has never been a hint at any program he coached at of shady recruiting. I hate hearing jealous Kentucky fans question his ethics. Ask Tyler Smith or any of his other players what kinda man and coach Bruce is. Their opinions are the ones that count to me. |

I personally like Pearl a lot, but to say his ethics are beyond reproach might be a bit of a leap. |
