| How awesome was Gerald Jones's effort on 3rd and 7 in 3rd overtime. Did you guys see the move that Jones put on the two Kentucky defenders to get the first down on 3rd and 7 in the 3rd overtime? He made a 3 yard reception into an 8 yard gain. I kept saying to myself that he and maybe Taylor were the only ones that would have gotten the first down in that situation. His quickness allowed him to juke left then right and go between the defenders. I was very impressed with his abilities. |

| | Old School Vol | Browns catch if it were not overruled was also a great effort. These guys were not perfect and struggled at times but played with a lot of heart. |

| | MODest | Gerald had a great block on Hancock's 4OT TD too... he wouldn't have made the endzone without GJ.
The future of the WRs looks bright with Hancock and Jones. |

| | Cause I like to party | It's a d*** shame it took so long for him to get on the field...We could have used him in alot of other games...now we can't redshirt him and we only get about 4-5 good games out of him

| | Senior Member | Wow! That's a great pic. I didn't even see that angle on the replays. Looks like both hands on the ball and feet down to me. I take back my previous post. |

| the announcers were all over saying it hit the ground, but after about a billion replays of them showing a big clump of black, I just couldn't see the ball hitting the ground myself. As much as they were on UK's jock the entire game, I wouldn't take their word for it.
Either way, play was upheld, TD, Vols going to the SECCG!

| | Senior Member | I loved when they showed the replay of that catch on the Fulmer show and he goes " Gerald makes those plays all the time in Practice, he's going to be a good one " ... might have been nice to have him in game situations all year, Coach, haha |
