| I didn't see that it was blocked until we picked it up either.
I thought the game was pretty much over twice. I was sure they were going to punch it on into the endzone at the end of regulation. And then, when Ainge threw the interception in one of the OT's.
UT has nine lives I swear. Thank goodness for it though. SEC CHAMPIONSIHP baby, let's go. |

| I've been telling people all week that we were going to squeak past Kentucky. I also said we were going to hammer LSU. If that happens, I am officially anointing myself the Nostradamus of the Vol Football Team. In all my life I never dreamed a blocked field goal by our special teams would be a huge factor in a game. |

| i would have liked to have turned the channel when UK was going for that kick...
would have liked even better to have been able to leave the room...
but i was forced to sit in place while trying to burp the new baby
<-----------
think it was hard to watch it as it unfolded? try watching it while keeping all your emotion bottled up inside, lest you accidentally toss the baby through the ceiling when we blocked that kick!

| Try losing coverage of the game with six minutes left. With my handheld TV reduced to ESPN's byline on ABC, I started getting automated text message updates after scores. I didn't enter the Swamp until the 2nd quarter. When I finally went to my seat, it was 38-38. Not getting a text for a long time when I knew we had the ball first had me greatly concerned. |

| I wore a UT hat rally-cap style at the opening kickoff, just like two years ago when I was at the game in Lexington. After the first play, I turned the hat back around. I switched back to the rally cap at the start of the first OT and didn't turn it around again until it was 52-44. I hate FSU but couldn't really enjoy the Gators' beatdown, because heart/mind/soul/whatever was in multiple OTs. |

| I was just mad that we had basically handed the game to them and had practically gift wrapped the SEC east for Georgia |

| I thought that the kicker hooked it and the field goal had just missed. I didn't realize it was blocked until I saw one of our players running with it.
I was only scared one time during the game. Right before OT when KY had the ball inside our 5 yard line. That was the only time I thought we would lose. I remember just saying to everyone: "If we get to overtime, we will win, mark that down." Even during the kick I wasn't worried that much, I just felt that something would happen.
When the Vols made their 2 point during the 4th overtime I as well as several other people watching with me knew that was Kentucky's death knell. |

| For some strange reason my wife is always right. Even when Ainge threw the pick off of the receivers shoulder/head, and I said it was over, we lost. She said maybe they'll block the field goal.
Wives are always right.

| I thought the game was over a lot in the second half, and when Woodson almost let the time run out Cal style before the kick at the end of regulation.
Then overtime almost gave me a heart attack. My girlfriend was hoping for a missed FG, she knew I would be pissed all night if the cats won. |

| I thought it was over when:
-The Cats had 1st and Goal @ the 2 at the end of regulation.
-The Cats intercepted in 2nd OT
-The Cats needed only hit the 35 yard FG in 2nd OT
-The Vols got the Pers. Foul call that put them at the 40 to start 4th OT.
There were probably other times that I don't remember. As of the interception in the 2nd overtime, I had resolved that it was over. In fact, I wondered if KY would just go ahead and kick from the 25 without running a play. From that point on, I was literally trembling..couldn't hold my hands still for nothing. |

I knew the personal foul call wouldn't hurt us. I'm just glad we didn't go on defense first, then Kentucky would have had the ball on the 10. |
