I still like the one called (The student section) as TennNc suggested...

The whole coonskin cap thing was well before the civil war.
The caps were originally a traditional Native American article of clothing, but when European pioneers began settling the Tennessee and Kentucky areas, they made it their own, evolving its use and wearing them as hunting caps.
This is all circa 1780s-1830s.
I wouldnt expect you to know anything about history being from Florida, so I'll let this one slide. |
