| | Senior Member | I think we'll see them at Ky if we see them at all.
Edit: that is if we worked something out to where Ky wears white. Didn't think about that. |

| | Laaayed Back!!! | I think at the florida game where they came out of the stands before the game. The warm up jerseys were trimmed in black if I remember correctly? They looked pretty sharp I thought. Then again its not all black like you guys are talking about. |

I was watching that 'Locker Room' show sunday night, Tony Jones was on, and I got the impression that this internet talk about black unis for the MEM game is only internet talk.
Jones said he himself preferred the road orange gear, and that he hadn't heard anything about black uniforms.
Does this put this business to rest, or are we being set up... | And to think I used to look up to you...... |

| | For All Things Orange | Well I saw the Locker Room too. The way Tony Jones responded definitely left the door open for the black unis. He even said if we were wearing black I wouldn't be able to say anything on here anyways would I? THEN he added, he is more of a traditional guy and that he likes the orange unis.
I would not be surprised AT ALL if we busted out black unis, in fact I'd be a little surprised if we didn't.
Black may not be an "official" color, but we certainly have plenty of black involved with our uniforms. There's the trim, the recent increase of black shooting sleeves, a large influx of black socks, and JaJuan for one actually wore a black undershirt vs Arkansas.
I'm not counting out the black yet. |

| | For All Things Orange | I had an extended conversation with a member on the team and during the conversation I brought up the black unis. He said he had no knowledge of any black uniforms, but was totally for the idea. He also said it would be very risky because if we lose in our first 1v2 we probably wouldn't wear the uniforms ever again.
His guess is that if they do wear them, they will still pack the orange uniforms on friday, meaning the wouldn't know right up until gametime.
If the uniforms do exist, as of right now, neither the players or the managers know about it. |

| | Senior Member | Kansas is supported by adidas, and in their contract it states they must wear their alternate red uniforms at least twice a year. I dont know if they have worn them a second time yet, but the first exhibition they had this year they wore the red unis. Maybe adidas has something like that with Tennessee where we have to wear an alternate jersey at least once or soemthing like that. May not be black but its alternate. And why couldnt we wear black and Kentucky wear blue??? I know sometimes Ole Miss has worn red with the visiting team wearing Blue or Navy. I think as long as it isnt like the WVU game this year there wouldnt be a problem. Yellow and Orange looked atrocious in New Jersey, kinda hard to tell who was who. |
