| | Member | :good: Nashville newspaper, The Tennessean, is reporting an agreement has been reached in principle on a new contract for Tennessee Coach Phillip Fulmer that will make him the third highest-paid coach in college football next year behind Oklahoma's Bob Stoops and Texas' Mack Brown.
The new seven-year deal still needs final approval from the UT Board of Trustees, but the total financial package will average out to just under $2.1 million per year.

| Everything's bigger in Texas.
I'm one that believes that Coaches and professional athletes are worth every penny they can convince somebody to pay them. |

| Like Mack Brown is bad? He's looking at five straight 10-win seasons. That sounds like a pretty damned good coach to me. |
