| Lawgator,
I think we are screwed short term.
Long-term. I think if we don't make a change (clearing house) then our "reputation" as a good school could take a huge hit especially in recruiting. I hate to see our teetering program take a nose dive and take years and years to recover because of a lack of decision until we totally face-plant. |

Fulmer would be doing UT a favor worth ten times that donation he just made if he would step aside. Got to be able to tell recruits and the alumni that its a new day at some point. But as long as it just drags out, it really does sour things. |

I really do think he will do the right thing this year. He knows the shape we are in and he has noone to blame but himself.
I believe if he had pulled the trigger on Sanders a few years earlier he wouldnt have found himself in this spot now. Cut showed up a few years to late. That 05 Defense is long long gone. |

The longer this drags on the more likely people will just remember the sour taste from the last few seasons after he passed his prime. It's really kind of a shame. |

| Gator they didn't keep Zook around very long after Spurrier left, and Meyer has come in and done an exceptional job, Spurrier is coming around with SC, Saban has bama off to a possible 3-0 start and miles has LSU at #2. Where are our standards for achievement in football, obviously not very high cause we sure as hell aren't winning the games we should. I cant take it any longer we are gonna become CELLAR DWELLERS.

Although I'd much rather have Chris Peterson.

| This was a sorry game for Vol fans. They played like they knew they were going to lose from the beginning. No fire. They played very flat. I dunno. Maybe it IS time for a complete overhaul. They way they played today I see losing to bama, UGA, S Carolia, Arkansas and Kentucky. Yes a 5-7 season. No bowl and a total dismantlement of the coaching staff at year's end.

| Another strategy would be to go back to the same search firm that turned up Bruce Pearl. |
