| I disliked, but respected F.U. until 2005. That is when my wife and I made our one and only trip to Gainesville. As we walked from the car to the stadium, we had beer and soda thrown at us. During halftime, I left my seat to have a smoke. While standing on the ramp, some turd wench slapped a "kick-me" sign onto my back. Now, I know that every fan base has it's idiots, but the lack of class shown by EVERYONE that we encountered there was enough to turn "dislike" into "downright hatred." | |

My only trip to the Swamp was '99. On the walk to the car after the game I had people getting in my face screaming, cups of beer (thank God) thrown at me and all sorts of nasty insults hurled at my wife and me.
I was quite proud of my restraint not to throw punches and end up in jail.
