Ainge's experience and UT's running game match up much stronger against UF's inexperienced, thin D. UF should be able to move the ball but UT's D has been tested and has improved. UF's D hasn't been pushed at all yet.

Big plays could turn the game either way on ST's or turnovers. Caldwell out helps UT more than Gaines hurts.

Still comes down to the same things that were predicted two months ago. If UT's DT's play well... they'll win.

Your prediction can't be based on much more than ours were prior to the Cal game. You haven't played a real defense nor stopped a real offense.

UF may win. They may in fact be two TD's better... but to say that based on their work so far is pure speculation.

We know that UT can move the ball against quality defenses. What we don't actually know is whether UF is a quality defense or not or maybe even a superior defense... though that seems very unlikely.

We know that UT's D stank it up against Cal and has made some progress since. What we don't know is how good UF's offense will actually be against a team with a pulse since they haven't played one.

Most of the unknowns are on the UF side of the ball.

I predict (HA!) both teams will score on their first drives, Florida gets a TD, UT gets a field goal.
The defenses then step up and rule until late in the 3rd, or early 4th quarter. Halftime Florida leads 10-6.

Final score: Florida 24 TN 23

Depending on who gets the ball first, Florida never trails or is only behind 3-0 for one possession.
