Cal obviously has a chance, particularly if:
1) your leading back from last year is not in the state the game is being played in
2) your All-World punter has a strained quad
3) your UT record-setting senior quarterback is sidelined with a freaking pinky injury
Losing the orchestrator of your offense, regardless of how much you plan on running rather than passing, makes a tremendous impact on your team. (And..no..I'm not asserting we have lost him). I'm just saying that something like this makes you worry about losing that key player....you don't think that people would be wigging out about this before just about any game...I do...
