1) 2nd & 3d stringers are not 1st stringers for a reason.
2) Any time there is an issue where you may be forced to go to #2 is cause for concern.
Im not saying they can't get the job done without Ainge. |

Im not saying they can't get the job done without Ainge. | We weren't forced to insert the 3rd string. We did because we had already won the game. Also, our 2nd string didn't get outscored 18-0. That was the third string. |

| I think that the argument can be distilled down to - for this particular player, 95% of us would rather see a healthy Ainge in this game than a healthy Crompton. It's probably not a stretch to say that Ainge's performance in this game (healthy) would likely be better than Crompton's (healthy)...again...at this point. Why wouldn't you want to throw your 1st string at them. I, for one, want to see what Ainge can do in this game and I will be disappointed if I don't get to see him play. On the other hand, I am confident that Crompton will play a pretty good game if he starts. |

From what I hear the kid thinks he can run through brick walls....and I like it. |
