Dude is fine. However, your speculation is worth no more than my speculation, rex's speculation, etc. You think he plays, I think he plays, but I do have a worry that he won't. GVX is saying he's "expected" to play, which is a good word.

If we lose to cal, it's going to be from more than a sore pinky!

I'm not in panic mode yet.

FULMER would never be that creative...He would be to scared someone would do it to him down the line!

If it's jammed and not broken he'd have to be a complete pansy to not play...our training staff will have it back to normal by gametime and even if it's still hurting he can just numb it. If I recall correctly from my playing days...the pinky barely effects the throwing motion, but still I want everything hitting on all cylinders when we go out there

Better to be now than 4 days before the Florida game. (Or the Georgia game, or the South Carolina game, or the Bama game, shall I continue???).

I'm not taking up for guys from California (or Oregon), but Casey Clausen was a tough SOB.

You don't need Ainge's pinky to run the ball down their throats.

C'mon guys. It's a jammed pinky on Tuesday. We've all jammed a finger before (or at least a lot of us). It will be fine by Friday or Saturday. This isn't as big of a deal as it is being made to be.

If Ainge doesn't INSIST on playing, and he will, then he's not the senior leader at QB we need him to be anyway. He can overcome a freaking jammed pinky. If he can't, then we are better off getting the next guy in anyway. This is football, not table tennis.

hoops Revenge

Being out here on the left coast- just thought I'd add that Cal and its fans are talking big and looking for revenge for last year's game.
I hope there's a lot of other Orange nation people with me in the stands on Saturday.

I would be worried if it was his thumb, pointer finger or middle finger. The pinky is the least important finger when throwing a football.

I've jammed fingers a lot, and they've been sore 4 days later. Still, I'm feeling better than I was 30 minutes ago.
