thanks lawgator. I was at Tenn last year and got a mixed response from the fans. The guys we tailgated next to were awesome (a father, son and a grandfather) and very friendly. So were some of the folks in the hotel. The other side of that coin was after the game as we were leaving the stadium, all the as@holes. The wosrt thing I saw was two Cal fans that got arrested before the game for singing the Cal fight song in response to some Vols who had been singing Rocky Top. That was poor.

No Cal fan here is arguing that we have been a better program for the past umpteen years. I can understand why you don't want to look forward as the immediate future looks grim.

No, no. Our fan base is much too large. Were they to all sign up the VN servers would crash. You will see about 20% of our fan base on the first, be thankful that is all.

You get together 100,000 people and your going to find nice people, *******s, good looking people, ugly people, skinny people, fat people, etc.

Be that they are wearing orange and white, navy and gold, orange and blue, etc...

Also, no Cal fans got arrested for signing a fight song that is an outright ridiclious statement.

We'll look at what people remember: Championships. No one's going to remember that Cal was ranked 15th or whatever in 2006. No one cares.

I know it sounds ridiculous, and that is what we tried to tell the cops but I didn't make it up. It happened right before the game and for the rest of the Cal fans that witnessed it, it really put a damper on the rest of the game/day.
