If Florida got rid of all the potheads, that would be most of their team.

It's worse when it's your own school participating in these shenanigans. I would rather lose football games than have a girlfriend-beating jackass like the guy KPT mentioned play for my alma mater.
Additionally, McClure is the player that flipped out in front of the T-Recs building (student workout and intramurals facility). He also threatened a professor, accosted a random female student that happened to walk by his tirade, taunted the police, attempted to fight them, and then after being apprehended, he tried to escape. He still played the next season. Honestly, he wasn't even that good.

Pot is, IMO, probably less dangerous than ethyl alcohol, and it's ridiculous that it's illegal. Ideally being busted with pot would be treated about the same as illegal consumption of alcohol. However, it IS illegal, and these guys all know the rules. Whatever the rules are, apply them uniformly, etc.

Your point is well taken. A guy who smoked pot does not embarrass me by wearing orange and white like the guys who start fights, commit robberies, etc.

Yeah, I remember the guy. Appalling that he wasn't kicked off the team. It grates on my nerves every time I read about the so-called Fulmer Cup, but for awhile there we earned it.

Florida's list is indicative of the current culture, just like it was when Tennessee's players were getting arrested every day. all I can say is, "Live by the thug, die by the thug."

They should change the Fulmer Cup to the Herban Meyer Bong.

The main reason I think pot is illegal is theres no easy way to tax and regulate it. Beer is sold in Oklahoma convienience stores ONLY if its of 3.2% alcohol by volume. This beer has put many into cemeteries, and many more have DUI's with a loss of license and a big lawyer bill. But because it's easily taxed and regulated it's sold because it produces a lotta funds. I don't partake of the herb, but I can see why those that do have a gripe. It's bureacracy.

You know, I simply must point out the irony I just observed. And which literally made me laugh out loud.

Look across the top of this page at the minimalist advertising allowed. I see one:

"Expungement Assistance."

On a board.

Where there is a thread.

About UF players being felons.

At the top it says "Expungement Assistance. Clear Criminal Record Today Improve Job Opportunities Now!"

Freakin' hilarious given the thread subject.
