| Donovan to make more than Meyer? Donovan will earn $3.5 million per year for each of the next six years, while Meyer will be paid $3.25 million per year. ESPN - Donovan, Meyer break bank with new Gator deals - College Sports
Not that I feel sorry for Meyer, but I bet the football team generates twice the revenue as the basketball team. |

| Yeah I was trying to keep it conservative. It's probably closer to 4 times, particurally if you figure in alumni donations. |

The football program will remain a massive cash cow regardless of who the coach is. So, relatively, Donovan is worth more. He has also been there for 11 years and has one more national title than Meyer. And, the difference is only $0.25 million/year. |

| | Senior Member | Yeah, I'd love to make $250,000 per year. But, for coaches making millions, I don't think that difference is a big deal. |

| | 13-14 in handshakes | $250,000 is what they pay in taxes. It doesn't bother them |

| | Valid Victorian | Foley had some comments about this, and said they had to include the knowledge of offers from Kentucky and Orlando into their offer. When Meyer gets offers from the NFL, I'm sure his will jump. |

| | Stooooooooops! | Billy Donovan has been at Florida a lot longer than UM, so UM has no reason to complain about 250K. |
