.. per some info from tweeter Chad Fields, there is an alternate design underway from Nike, that is geared toward a “throw back”

Here is a quote of the tweet:
“Yep! The classic template as approved sometime in January (I think). Everything is pointing towards throwbacks being 100%”

Let’s gather updates in this thread as they come in..

Update: this is all speculation, obviously, unless we hear something definitive.

Here is the original tweet from a other guy,

“Big time news coming out recently regarding Vols football uniforms! Throwbacks have been approved! What era would you like to see the Vols throwback”

Either of these would be fine with me for throwbacks.

Or the Black Jersey's with the orange pants for throwbacks.
