Bold predictions Tennessee Vols football 2018 season

They give some interesting reasons for each.

9. THE VOLS WILL FINISH IN THE TOP HALF OF THE SEC IN SCORING DEFENSE

8. QUART'E SAPP WILL LEAD TENNESSEE IN TACKLES

7. JAUAN JENNINGS WILL CATCH 10 TOUCHDOWN PASSES

6. TENNESSEE FINISHES WITH A PLUS TURNOVER MARGIN

5. JARRETT GUARANTANO WILL WIN THE STARTING QUARTERBACK JOB TO OPEN THE SEASON

If # 4, 6, 7, 9 & 10 happen, I don't think #1 is accurate. IMO of course.

Most of these are realistic. I feel better about our odds versus Florida than South Carolina or West Virginia (though, I think WV is a bit overrated this year). JG looks like the best QB on our roster at the moment.

Not sure about Chandler getting 1,000 yards, because I think we'll use multiple backs and that will make it more difficult, but it's not completely far-fetched. I'd go with Bituli for leading tackler over Sapp, but Sapp is a reasonable prediction. Nigel Warrior is very underrated in the SEC; if we look not-terrible this season, first team SEC is realistic.

if we are going bold then how about
11. Tennessee beats GA
12. Tennessee beats Auburn
13. Tennessee wins the SEC East
14. Tennessee beats Alabubba (well maybe not this far) but the rest are bold.

Edit:
11. Tennessee beats South Carolina
12. Tennessee beats Auburn
13. Tennessee wins the SEC East
14. Tennessee goes to the Outback Bowl
(Had to be somewhat realistic) we are not beating GA or Alabubba.

Beating UF shouldn't be that bold of a prediction but I guess they needed 10 and with the history of the series I guess I can see it.

Not necessarily, win the 3 easy games on our schedule (UTEP, ETSU, and Charlotte) and we can realistically take 2 of 3 against Kentucky, Vanderbilt, and Missouri, possibly even three out of three. Assuming we only take two out of three then all we would need is a upset against one of the remaining teams on our schedule.

If we can’t beat UK, Vandy, and Mizzou I doubt we will upset anyone else. I hope you’re right though.
