We know how chaotic the coaching search was without the email release between Currie and Bev. The outside media will do what they do and we cannot do anything to stop them slobbering over some UT negative episode. Don't feed their trolling. It's over and we have a new coach and Fulmer replaced Currie at AD. The saga was pretty well covered in real time, so it's not like replaying it makes it any clearer. It was a mess.

We had a successful BB season and shared the conference regular season title. Today is the 3rd day of spring FB practice and that should dominate the news for us fans of the game.

If you have had your fill of the debacle last fall like I have, then tune that noise out and don't let it be a distraction for what is important. You cannot change the past, but you can shape the future. That's all Pruitt and his coaches and players are focused on now. We should do the same.

These people are the reason UT athletics have been a laughing stock for years. Spineless puppets and power hunger little D millionaires have earned the full wrath of the Volunteer fan base.

Let’s be happy with what we got but also make an example of the ones who tried to destroy our program. Focus on the releases and at minimum get them such bad PR that they become blacklisted and can’t do this again.

As soon as you stop being vigilant the power brokers like the Haslams and minions like Currie will sneak back in.

I'm all for remembering past mistakes (and the circumstances surrounding their occurrence) so similar ones aren't made in the future, but you hit the nail on the head, OP.

Things happened, mistakes were made...may as well move forward and not waste energy and oxygen needlessly dwelling upon things that can't be changed.
