According to an article on TOS, had successful surgery this week.

-saw multiple specialists for opinions prior to surgery
-will take several months to recover

I'm not sure if this is a good sign that he will try to play again or not, so take that FWIW.

Article also goes on to state that Calbert and Neihaus will also be limited an may completely miss spring along with Smith which we already knew about.

Hopefully there are some surprises on the OL. Otherwise it ain't looking good, aight?

I'm not familiar with the specifics of his injury. It's hard to come back stronger after an injury. I'd like to see him do it.

Go Chance Hall!

I don't think the world is coming to an end. I remember when we started two unheralded walk-on brothers in the OL, and I was thinkin Oh crap ... but they gave their all for Tennessee and didn't do that badly. Somebody will step up.

Crazy. What reason could he have for putting off this surgery for over 6months?

Too many fragile players Neihaus and Calbert haven't even played

convert Kongbo

To do what? Zero chance that Kongbo could make a transition to OT, especially given his lack of size/weight. He’s struggling bad enough to play DE, a position he’s been playing for a little while now, let alone a new position.

So we shouldnt have any problems winning 8 games right? I mean if we dont, Pruitt is not the guy right?

Who said that? I think I’ve literally seen one poster on here advocating that he should absolutely win 8 or 9 games in year one....which obviously ridiculous.

Maybe we should just play 7 on 7 this year. I don't think we will have enough to O linemen to have a " real" spring practice.

Nope. That was Josh McNeil I believe. Sullins twins definitely gave it their all and did an admirable job during Kiffin's season, but their most famous play was probably letting Cody for Alabama break thru the line and block Lincoln's field goal.
