We also have quite a few players with an extra year of experience as well, moot point. You also didn't get to see our most explosive offensive player last year other than after the fact drives(Coker). Our defense will be a ton faster this year.

Meachem was on the field.

Nice post. I actually agree and don't have anything insulting to add.

Hughes probably dropped down to a 3rd or 4th round pick with that 40 time he posted and Wade was mentioned on Sportscenter as an underrated player. Hughes was mentioned as an overrated player.

It doesn't matter if I have it or not, Wade will be picked before Hughes. Hughes runs a 4.7.

Because ESPN is the bastion of truth

Wade is a track guy that just happens to play a little bit of football. Hughes was All-Conference for a couple of years.

If a team that runs a Cover-2 scheme needs a CB, then Hughes will go in front of Wade and have just as good if not better a career than Wade.

Wade is more athletic, but hell, at one point he quit football to run track and only participated in one spring practice. Hughes is a better CB right now.

Well with your month away from posting, you'll have plenty of time to think of something to say.

Insightful knowledge from you would be nice, but that's too much to ask from you. Would you like to put 1000.00 on this? I'll gladly take you or treehugger up on this one.

he was still a huge playmaker at cal and ran a 4.5 40 at the cal pro day. he says he had a pulled hammy at the combine but that could be bs. edit: now i remember he actually pulled the hammy at the senior bowl. Before the combine most had him the #1 or #2 corner.

He was never #1. That was Leon Hall and 2nd was Darrelle Revis. At best he was third

exactly there was a reason he won pac-10 defensive player of the year and he looked real good in the senior bowl before he got injured.

maybe, most had him as a late first rounder.
