Wade is a track guy that just happens to play a little bit of football. Hughes was All-Conference for a couple of years.
If a team that runs a Cover-2 scheme needs a CB, then Hughes will go in front of Wade and have just as good if not better a career than Wade.
Wade is more athletic, but hell, at one point he quit football to run track and only participated in one spring practice. Hughes is a better CB right now. |

Hughes was mentioned as an overrated player. | he was still a huge playmaker at cal and ran a 4.5 40 at the cal pro day. he says he had a pulled hammy at the combine but that could be bs. edit: now i remember he actually pulled the hammy at the senior bowl. Before the combine most had him the #1 or #2 corner.
