On the other hand, we need an explosive #2 WR and a consistent, reliable, 8-10 yarder at the #3 WR spot. That's where I think Hancock and Briscoe will end up contributing. A Bobby Graham type guy.
I believe Austin Rogers will be the WR that gets those 8-10 yard first downs. O'Neal is the #1 guy, #2 Hancock/Jones/Vinson and #3 Rogers with Taylor and Shelley seeing spot time

It's been his occasional unwillingness to go with a true freshman ahead of an obviously lesser upperclassman that has been problematic. See Mark Levine playing ahead of Jamal Lewis for the first quarter of the 1997 season.
Leonard Little was a JUCO too, I think.

Dale Carter was the first really good Juco player I can remember at UT. That was under Majors though. But I think he opened some eyes.

Drosk is that CB for Cal still as good as he was last year? Might be a good opportunity for O'neal to make everyone forget about Meachem.

hopefully, his hand wont be broken this year. he improved considerably by the end of the year. he was on at least one freshman all american list (sportingnews maybe?). Not to worry though, our other CB with either be a redshirt freshman, converted safety, or converted rover. Does oneal have good size? Those are the type of receivers we have had problems with in the past.

edit: rivals says 6 foot, 195. Doesn't that really mean he is 5'10?
