Gerald Brown is joining staff as an offensive analyst. Article also states that Kevin Beard remains front runner for WR coach position after interviewing over the weekend.

As well as what is mentioned above, it said Jones wants to add one more analyst. And that he is searching for more experienced and NFL guys for those quality control/analyst positions.

It's a free read by the way lol.

That is one strong staff addition in Gerald Brown. Larry Scott and Butch are bringing in a nice mix of veterans and up and comers.

Shoop may want to bring in Woody Widenhofer to prepare for Ga Tech game if Woody still can get around. Woody is 74 but could be a nice pickup for 6 months to gameplan 1 game.

It isn't hard to gameplan for the Ga Tech offense, it's been around since the 70's. Where they give teams trouble is when they only have a week to prepare for it. Shoop has 6 months to get ready so if he isn't prepared it's his own fault he has plenty of time.

lol,..."below" the knee in the back type tackle.. is really hard to prepare for,,you never know when its gonna happen.

Go to the Mid-bay Bridge into Destin and you will likely find Woody at one of the toll booths.

Great recruiting move and built in succession for RB coach if needed. Don't get me wrong I like Gillespie.

Excellent hire IMO.

Looks like buTch is trying to tell 4* and 5* kids that if you come to Tennessee we have NFL connections to help you get to the NFL when you graduate.

Also it looks like recruiting analysis is going to tighten up even more to find us more really good kids in high school.

Now we just need a really good recruiter that can also coach WR's really well.

VFL...GBO!!!
