The Promotion of Tennessee Basketball Continues...
Watching the Duke-Maryland game right now on ESPN ... Vitale is calling that game as well.

They opened the second half of the game with more footage from our game last night - Pat's stunt, recap of Pearl's chest painting, etc.

Vitale said that throughout the day at the airport and in Durham, NC, everybody kept asking him where his orange and white hat was.

They've mentioned Chris Lofton several times as well when the Duke or Maryland players shoot a 3.

When I was watching the Kentucky-Georgia game, those announcers were talking up our program as well.

Besides all of his gifts as a basketball coach, Bruce Pearl is a marketing genius bar none.

Go Vols!

Either way, no matter who it is, promotion of UT is a good thing.

I guess Vitale's diarrhea of the mouth is a double-edged sword ... right now its working out great for UT. Not so much for Billy Donovan.
