Does Abernathy move back to CB in Fall camp? I would hope so based on the depth chart below (Byrd assumed at WR):

SS - TK, Berry, Warrior
FS - Gaulden, Abernathy, Griffin
CB 1 - Cam, Miller, Buchanan
CB 2 - Martin, Mosely
Nickel - Foreman, Osborne

Also, if Berry ends up our 4th Safety.. does he perhaps play two ways? Thanks.

No. Because you're missing DJ Henderson the JUCO transfer who looked good in the spring game and I believe will back up Cam Sutton.

Don't think Abernathy moves based on reports with how impressive he was at safety this Spring. Shoop raved about him. My guess is the safety rotation will be Gaulden, TKJr, Abernathy and Griffin/Warrior barring injury.

I don't see anyway 6 Safeties see the field... Depth and Competition is great, but feel like we are in good shape with 5 and Abernathy back at corner. Maybe Berry can play corner?

Put Berry at punt return, save Cam from taking some hits and a bit of endurance. Berry is scary good at making a man miss and acceleration. Wouldn't mind seeing him take a couple swing passes or used as a decoy on a sweep

Isn't "We don't have much" supposed to go in front of the word "Depth"??

Things have changed!

Berry's evidently a safety or bust based on how the coaches are using him. Had a strong spring last year but then disappeared in the fall, couldn't get on the field at safety after the BGSU game. Now he's missed the entire spring, while Abernathy is getting effusive praise at safety from Shoop....singled him out early as being his most impressive defensive player of the spring iirc. Based on all that, I think Abernathy sticks at safety and rotates with TKJr and Gaulden....the 4th safety is likely Warrior or Griffin unless Berry blows up in the fall. Jmo based on what I've heard and read.

I think we're dealing with another Devin Hester when it comes to Evan Berry.

Great athlete. Great returner. No true position.

I'd personally move him to offense. He looked awesome in high school as a WR.

While the experience isn't super high, the talent in that secondary is as good as it has been in Knoxville in a decade or two.

And that doesn't even include Byrd who will evidently start out at WR.

Heck I could even see E. Berry going to WR if a pair of certifiable threats don't emerge there.

Ol' Mustafa has said he's full of pithy one-liners, so I got faith he'll find a way.

I'm 41 and I don't take the Viagra.

I get my chubies from good vocab now.

Nothing more to explain.

I do appreciate a good onomasticon though fellas so thanks.
