Thanks for this.

Do any of these rank high on anyone's list? Are they "great coaches in training"? Who on this list is a rising star or gets a lot of buzz in coaching circles?

Kacy Rodgers has put together a nice resume. He might be a NFL lifer though. Tee will most likely be a Head Coach at some point.

Agreed in both counts I think Tee will get a HC job at smaller school in very near future. I don't know if he will make a good HC but I think he gets a chance soon.

Why would you think Tee is head coach material? He seems too soft spoken, not alpha enough to be the head guy anywhere imo

That's a stereotype. And not a very good one. Tom Landry immediately comes to mind.

Tom Landry fought in WWII and was DC for Vince Lombardi before ever becoming a head coach. Tee Martin is a wr coach and basically a bag man on the recruiting trail. Huge huge difference. Landry was an alpha.

I think you have confused two Dickey's. The one who played at Tennessee was Daryl Dickey, who is Athletic Director at West Georgia. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daryl_Dickey

Darrell Dickey is OC at Memphis, but played at Kansas State. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daryl_Dickey

Easy enough to do. I made the same one a while back.

Yeah, you got me. I was looking up Justin Fuente the other day and I saw that his OC was Darrell Dickey. Didn't even think about the spelling or to look into it further. My mistake.

Kevin Steele

Good one. Added him. Solid coach, but doesn't seem to be head coach material after his Baylor record.

Daryl Dickey seems to be dug in like a tick in West Georgia, and not sure he has proven himself ready for AD at a school like Tennessee, despite his dad being a great one.

Reggie McKenzie is intriguing as an AD prospect if he can turn around the Raiders.

Quite a few soft spoken head coaches. I don't necc think he would be a good HC but I think he will get the chance to lead a smaller program.
