TOS has several longtime posters saying Jackson has a broken arm and will be out estimated 8-10 weeks.
Hopefully, those rumors are wrong.
We will probably find out tomorrow.

First off, has he already redshirted?
Would he be eligible for a medical redshirt?
As for Team 119, how does this shakeup the starting Oline?

No RS available.

Already used one and it wasn't an injury. So no 6th year available

Yes he has already taken a RS. As for who will replace him, it would have to be Sanders or Big Charles. If not one of them it'll be one of the true freshmen. The only other option, which seems unlikely, is if Blair steps up at LT they could slide Kerbyson over to LG.

The sky is falling! The sky is falling! Save yourselves!

A broken arm is a problem. It isn't critical. If it's forearm, he will play with a protective cast/pad. Upper arm will probably sideline him for a while.

There's no way he'd play with a broken forearm. He wouldnt be able to get any kind of push.

they were looking at Robertson and Kendrick yesterday. Weisman is at center but could take a look at him. Jones is working RG right now.

Anyone know how it happened? An arm injury that's not a break or fracture seems extremely rare for someone's first day in pads unless it's a Justin Harrell type of situation.

Not sure. In the Drew Richmond thread LWS said it doesn't sound like it's a break, but it does sound like it's serious. Not sure what that means, but it's not good.

Upper arm injury that isn't broke??

Could it be a torn labrum???

If so how long is that recovery for a lineman??

something torn would be worse. Hopefully its not too bad but a a fracture or a break and you MIGHT get him back by the UF game. Thats about 7 weeks away. Maybe.

I would call that a "shoulder" problem, and that's not a common lineman injury.

which would be terrible if thats the case.

If complete, yes. You can actually function well with one head. He'd lose some strength, especially at first, but I'm not sure how important bicep strength is for a lineman.
