Who knows? It's all rumor at this point. It would probably do the program some good if he were to bow out gracefully now and let a younger coach step in to try and take the program to the next level.

Wonder if they actually have that rumored agreement with his son Skip to take over??

you still hate to see him go. he's pretty fun to watch considering we beat him all the time.

I may be crazy, but I really think that SC could be a strong football program. They've got great facilities, a rabid fan base and already have good athletes. They just need an innovative, energetic guy to come in and take them to the next level.

they are a good footbal team. they've got a great fan base. they've got good players. they've got a good coach. the only problem is how much longer can the coach remain there. nothing against good ole' loue but i don't think he has many y ears left in coaching.

The problem with SC is the lack of talent in the state which is split between them and Clemson, other teams that cherrypick their best prospects and a tradition of losing. They could do some better but not enough to compete year in and year out for a divison title, not against UGA, UF and UT

Send a message via Skype™ to milohimself
I think SC could potentially do well in the ACC...

They tried that years ago and couldn't.
