8:1 seems short. I would have thought it would be higher. I hope I am wrong and the odds maker is just as wrong and it turns out the be 1:9 ... a virtual cod lock cinch! GO BIG ORANGE!

Tennessee was given 8-1 odds to win the SEC along with Ole Miss and LSU. Bama (5-2), Auburn (15-4), and UGA (5-1) are the 3 with better odds.

This is interesting. Consider that TN is in the same bracket as GA and Bama with Auburn as well. This means really we have a better than 50% chance of being in the SECCG if we beat GA.

OK, there is a logic stretch here, but hey, I am a fan, not a prognosticator.

The way I see it, is there is no way Mizz. wins it 3 yrs. in a row. It would be impossible for Vandy, UK, USC jr. or Fla. to win the east. Therefore it is between UGA, an UT. For some reason we always seem to play our best game against Georgia, therefore I'll agree we have as good of a chance as any to win it.

Per this Arkansas will be our 3rd toughest SEC game. Glad we have them at home may be the difference maker.

Think they left a zero off of Vandy's odds.
