This was not a joke. Joe was a Tennessee boy who played at FSU and gave it his best shot with the Houston Oilers in their early days, not to mention CJM's brother.

All I have heard is visitation at the funeral home in Centenial Park (something Donnelly? in Nashville) on Sat. and a service at Scaratt-Bennett (Vandy area) on Sunday. I am sure there will be details in the paper tomorrow.

I just saw this after I posted. All Fulmer vs. Johnny aside, I am sad. Joe was a nice man who made a lot of people's days better.

i agree. while i don't remember much of them, i've heard a lot about the man. it is a sad day. thanks for the link, i appreciate it
