Irregardless of what they may have thought then, CPF is a VFL, and should be accorded the respect as such, wouldn't you think?

It's not like he went a whole year without landing a Offensive Lineman. ;-)

Where was this coaching clinic, at Vanderbilt University Athletic Department?

Seriously tho, good to see the respect for Coach Fulmer finally returning. As they say winning cures everything. We aint really winning yet, but were at least borrowing from the expected wins to come. Would love to see him in some sort of active ambassador role for the UTAD. The guy rocked the college football world from 92-2001, and did it with class.

I love everything Coach Fulmer did for UT but I dont know how good of an idea this would be. See Wisconsin with CBA as their AD, the man is impossible to work for.

True, it could go either way I guess. I'd just prefer a hommer over a bammer.

I would prefer competence in position over an alum. Not saying fulmer couldn't be competent or that Dave is, however the obsession by sum to have an alum in this position is clueless.

Nothing wrong with a Hall of Famer that loves Krispy Kreme. Wish they had a drive-thru !

My Krispy Kreme has a drive-thru. When the red light is on that means there are hot doughnuts and this man is pulling in.

The many topics he touched on:

1) How to create the most discomboluted offense.
2) Excuse making 101
3) Hiring idiots to make yourself feel exalted.
4) Mediocrity is acceptable if you can get away with it.
5) How to destroy a program and walk away with Fort Knox.
