New Battle At Bristol Ticket Information And Priority Points Program Announced | Bristol News | News/Media | Bristol Motor Speedway

Not sure how many of you this applies to, as it does not apply to me, but I figured I'd share it anyway. It seems if you frequent the Bristol Motor Speedway you can earn yourself points towards priority seating/parking/etc. on the day of the game.

I'm not so sure I'll be able to make it, but hopefully someone on here finds this useful.

That applies to BMS season ticket holders and not UT season tickets.

Ya they were talking about it on sports talk radio couple weeks back...each University has 40k tickets.. the rest of the tickets and the VIP seats etc.. will be availabe to BMS tickets holders first. When gametime gets close, if anything is left over then they will start selling them normally, through website etc...

So glad we got our two tickets reserved.. UT allocation was 40,000.. 35,000 made deposits.. the other 5,000 will be allocated to students n the closer to 2016 gets. We can't wait for this one particular game!

I noticed a small selection of 'gear' for the Battle at Bristol in some of the trailers at the track this past weekend. One of the ladies said there would be a bigger selection at the August race. Here's the selection from the BMS online store:

I think it will be about even. Neither fan base has to travel very far. Bristol is almost exactly the same distance from both campuses.

UT fans occupy large chunks of southwestern virginia.

Plus we'll be coming off a national championship, so excitement will be at a fever pitch.
