I would say Punter or Tight End. Did anyone check out Alabama's punter during their bowl game? He was a weapon. If their defense would have capitalized he would have been the MVP.

Center.

He protects the QB after the QB fondles his nuts.

Nut, nut, hike.

Clean snaps are important.

The holder on field goals.

Kneel down on the ground. Catch a snap from the Long Snapper. The snap may or may not be a good one. Control said snap. Spin ball to face the laces the right way. Place ball on ground at just the right angle. Wait for someones leg to come swinging forward towards your arm.

All in about 2 sec.

I think DT's are usually underrated.

Wow - most folks consider this the 2nd most important position in football....guess you consider DT's the most important position?

I agree with OL. Even when they are great they don't usually get the recognition. Specialists are involved in much fewer number of plays compared to the OL for them to be the most.

You make it all sound so easy.

Long snapper, holder and FG kicker are much more important than many people understand.

Those 3 guys, as a unit, can Win or lose some games for you.

Fullback. We don't even think it's worth having one. If it was up to me, I'd have a fullback in the offense, or at least an H-back in motion, ALONG WITH two tight ends, all with good enough hands to be a credible receiver. Now what are we gonna do ... run it, or throw?

Bye bye, spread. 5 line + 2 TE + QB + HB + FB = 1 WR. We're about as spread then as a 1924 Army team. I don't think we even have the legal authority to throw it at that point, every play has to be 3 yards and a cloud of dust. ;)

Most under-rated = Long Snapper. Place kickers get plenty of accolades, esp. since they are often the highest scorers on their teams. And holders are usually 'good hands' members of the squad, often in the offensive two-deep or on special teams for those same steady hands. But no one ever knows who the hell the LS is, unless he's totally screwing the pooch.
