What say you fools? I believe I have 2 JUCOs and 4 freshmen potentially starting (all on defense except Kamara). Anyone else bored enough to make one of these and offer it up to be scrutinized and critiqued to death by the trolls of VN?

Peterman won't play IMO and Berry won't be on offense now that we have a little depth at RB.

For me Preston Williams is special, along with butcher

I love Preston as well. I have criticized his attitude a little bit, but his talent is insane. I am just worried he will need the year to properly recover from his ACL injury.

Peterman might not play honestly. But I figured it was a safer bet that they would at least attempt to redshirt all of the freshmen if possible. But I do think if Dobbs gets hurt and has to miss some substantial time, Peterman will get the initial nod. Then, unfortunately, it's only a matter of time before one of the freshmen come in. I hope I am wrong though. Actually, I just hope Dobbs doesn't get hurt at all and we only see Peterman in mop up duty.

As for Evan Berry on offense, we will really only have 5 true running backs - Hurd, Kamara, Bruce, Bussey, and Perry. I think Berry is just too good with the ball in his hands compared to a couple of the true freshmen coming in. But who knows? It is definitely nice to see some depth though after losing Lane, Scott, and Paulk.

Mosley will start at RT. He is not going be on Dline. Thomas may start at C over Crowder. Vereen is opposite Barnett when Maggitt is at OLB. Lewis is a DE not DT as is Vickers. Bynum will probably start at MLB. Abernathy should be the No. 3 RB. Brodus is not a punter. Williams is still suspended from team and may not play. Peterman is probably history and Dormady should be the backup QB to Dobbs.

Very good run down and fun to speculate on. Here are a few of my thoughts.

I hope Evan stays at RB we will need the depth especially early in the season since we don't have an EE RB. Abernathy from Cincinnati will be at RB if Evan moves back to defense but I think he really wants to play in the slot. I think Evan could be a very good RB.

Carter was a Senior last season. Will have Adrian Gamble from Virginia to add depth.

Think Jack Jones will start at RT and isn't Mosley moving over to OL?

Lewis is a DE unless he really bulks up. Think he stays at DE. Mixon is big enough to fill in at DT. Think Taylor is more likely to RS then Butcher since he is an EE.

Think Bynum/Kirkland will battle for starting job as long as Bynum stays.

Edit: Williams is now enrolled for spring semester. Still doubt he returns but we'll see.

I liked Williams but being present for the Ole Miss game and watching him get repeatedly burnt changed my opinion of him. Being wrapped up in the rape accusation didn't help his character (if in fact he is charged).

Moving JRM over to MLB is not exactly simple. I'm not against the idea because JRM is a special player and if he does make the transition it would definitely open a golden opportunity for Bates to take the OLB position

Williams isn't enrolled in school and most likely will not be back. Was potentially a very good corner.

Um? Kamara is a EE.

K. McKenzie will start as WR and be able to out jump DBs then dunk through the goal post after touchdowns. He will also start for the basketball team.
