The Kicking Game under Butch

We can pick away at Butch's non-recruiting coaching performance. But one part of the game that can't be attacked is the kicking game. We often trashed Fulmer for no special teams coach and the performance of special teams. Dooley wasn't much better. Butch got here and immediately turns a very inaccurate, hated Palardy into a hero. And this year he's turned Darr in that same direction and brought in a winner in Medley. Kick coverage is outstanding and returns are plenty good.

Kickoff coverage is probably the best I have ever seen at UT, and I've seen a lot of years. I think my first year of watching UT religiously was in 1975.
