Vanderbilt went toe to toe with a few other teams as well. They are not completely void of talent. Their team lost a lot off of last years team. Scheme wise they are talented on defense. Note I said scheme wise. Mason is a good defensive coach. But you take out North. Malone. Smith. Croom. And then Hurd getting dinged up. That made them look better.
