Saturday's game is the 108th all-time meeting between Tennessee and Vanderbilt and the 59th in Nashville. The 107 meetings so far dating to 1892 are the second-most in any UT series, eclipsed only by 110 games vs. Kentucky since 1893.

UT is 73-29-5 all-time against Vanderbilt, including a 36-18-4 record in Nashville and a 37-11-1 record in Knoxville.

Despite losses in two consecutive games in the series, the Vols have won 29 of the last 32 games over the Commodores since 1983, including 14 of the last 15 over Vanderbilt in Nashville.

UT is averaging 29.6 points per game vs. Vanderbilt in the last 16 meetings since 1998 (UT 13-3 in those games).

Based on the NCAA's strength of schedule formula, the Vols have faced the toughest schedule in the nation over the last two years. Tennessee's combined opponents over the last two years have a composite record of 140-72 for a 66.0 win percentage.

In 2014, the Vols have the second most difficult schedule behind only Arkansas, who has played teams with a combined mark of 62-28 for a 68.9 win percentage.

In 2013, Butch Jones' first season on Rocky Top, the Vols played the toughest schedule according to the NCAA formula with opponents combined record of 79-42 ranking at the top with a 65.3 win percentage.

Improve Tennessee to 6-6 to finish the regular season, which would make the Vols both .500 or better
and bowl-eligible for the first time since 2010.

Mark the 29th win over Vanderbilt in the last 32 meetings since 1983 as well as the 15th of the last 16
meetings in Nashville.

Improve the Vols to 82-20 in November since 1990 and 12-8 during the month since 2010.

Represent consecutive road wins in SEC play for the first time since 2006 (Georgia/South Carolina).

Give Tennessee their 74th win over the Commodores and snap a two-game losing streak to Vanderbilt.

Pretty telling about the last decade.

Let's hang 100 on them and get to a bowl. GBO

Don't think we will put up that much but won't be surprised if we beat them like we did Kentucky. We need to make a statement to them that it was only 2 years and it's going to be another 25 years before they beat us again. Keep anchoring down because you ain't going nowhere!

Stoked, but kinda bittersweet. Seems like kickoff against Utah State was just a couple weeks ago.....but we're going to destroy Vandy, so there's one more game left. Still gonna be a long off season, though.

51-6, Vols.
