I, along with the likes of Count Volcula and Catbone, have painted a very gloomy (often true) picture of this team since October 4th.

But, I think we win this, and maybe win out. Maybe it's just because I hate South Carolina.. and have never really been afraid of them. Or possibly because Josh Dobbs made our offense look a little less unwatchable.

Either way, I've seen more positivity from the "negavols" this week, and I'm one of them.

Tennessee 31, South Carolina 21.

Win this, and carry the momentum all the way to 7-5. Go Vols.

I'm with ya. I'm a bit of a NegaVol but I think we have a good shot Saturday. Feeling pretty optimistic. Not sure why NegaVols are believed to be rooting against the Vols....but that's what happens.

Weird concept. It's almost like we're viewed to be hoping we lose. There's a difference between wanting us to lose and expecting it, blind positivity just isn't my strong suit. Oh well, I don't care how well liked or disliked I am on the Internet.

I don't think you wanted the Vols to lose. I think you whined like a little girl and lost perspective like a little girl when the Vols did lose.

Just being honest, so you'll know why you're hated on the internet.

As the father of a little girl, I take offense on her behalf.

She wouldn't see the outside of her room until grad school if she acted out like XLowe.

Welcome back! Let me take this opportunity to bury the hatchet with you negas I've had heated fellowship with. I am glad each of you support the Vols and want to win so badly. I hope no posts have caused animus between us. Let's look forward to kicking butt in harmony and unity from now on.

If we finish 7-5 I'll do naked cartwheels all the way to our bowl game.

I'll have to wear a face mask to keep myself from getting black eyes.

oh ffs... we've been bad for so long people get desperate. I have no doubt Xlowe, Catbone, et al absolutely want nothing but the best for the program. We all do. However when we get disappointed (which most of us have on and off this year) we respond in different ways.

Just take the guy's comments at face value. He wants them to succeed and he is hopeful. So do the rest of us and we are also hopeful.

Move on.

Well I do find Catbone to be somewhat endearing in his constant negativity. He is Volnation's version of Eeyore.

The other two I pass on paying any attention to.

Yeah, we should all just sit around holding hands and agreeing with each other all the time.

You may not agree with his/their perspective but I think one would have to respect their willingness to put themselves out there, knowing they are gonna get hammered. I think they are just as passionate fans as any other, they just go about it a little differently. I surely don't agree with a lot of their BS, but I do think they make some good points for discussion sometimes.

Plus its kinda fun to watch some get so bent out of shape from what they post sometimes.
