Anyone in attendance at Neyland Saturday night got a good dose of classless Bama players and coaches. A few players (captains?) always come out onto the field during the Pride's pregame show. However, Saturday night, several players and at least one assistant coach exhibited some of the most classless behavior I've ever seen in the situation.
For no reason I can imagine other than to be a punk, the first player wandered (edited from wondered, lol, thanks Special Ed) out onto the field at least as far as the numbers while the colors were being retired. He began high-stepping, which I hope was a form of stretching, because if not, he was mocking the color guard AS they were retiring the flag of the USA.
A "black-shirt" (assistant band directors) had to run out onto the field and "force" the player to get off to the sideline where he belonged. At this point an assistant coach butted in and appeared to encourage the player to stay put. The black-shirt let him have it, too, and they both eventually retired to their sideline. All Pride members know - don't mess with the black-shirts!
A couple of minutes later, just after the Pride had graciously played whatever crap bama calls a fight song, several players, included Cooper, began playing catch in the middle of our flag squad in the endzone corner just below where I was sitting. Multiple black-shirts had to step in to get them out of the way. I don't think any flags got hit by the passes, but several were bumped by players as they attempted to march the formation regardless of the classless obstacles in their path.
Trash. But we knew that already. Gameball to the black-shirts.

PS. Thought we had video of it, but my wife was only taking pics and none had the offending moments in them. Sorry. Thanks BV for posting that.
