Coach is on the phone with Tate:

Good comeback and something to build on.

Shows some strides UT has made.

Defense:Gave up 263 yards first quarter and 206 the rest of the game.

Hurd looked good.

Dobbs was outstanding according to Doug.

Looked like a leader and gave the team another weapon with his running.

Impressed with Dobbs early.

Mathews:

UT doubled rushing yards that Bama was allowing in first half.

A lot to build on offensively.

Allowed Oline to come off football and hit somebody.

Real good formation with TEs at wing positions helping running game and pass protection.

Best thing he saw was potential offensively.

Dobbs should be QB going forward.

Line blocking helped play action pass.

Pearson looked healthy.

Played well against a top 3 defense.

Team should gain some confidence from this game.

Kick off returns getting better with Evan Berry.

Kick off coverage looks good.

Medley getting better.

Safeties played well.

Overall did a good job against Bamas running game. Yeldon only had 52 yards but their QB hurt us.

Big size difference between Bama Oline and our Dline. Need to get bigger but playing well for their size.

Need to work on our secondary more.

May should have ran Hurd. May have been a reward for AJ.

Starting QB for next game is Butch's call.

Mathews likes Dobbs for QB due to the results we got from Dobbs.

Has heard that Worley's shoulder may be worse than previously thought.
