Studs:

Hurd: big night with no oline help. Baller.

Barnett: he's a freshman.. Good grief. He was eating humans.

Sutton: model of consistently playing at an elite level.

Slumps:

Croom: body of Achilles, hands like feet.

Oline: they looked like the fat kids on the play ground.

Devrin Young: can't wait for his 4 years of zero impact to be over.

And oh yeah, the whole $&@?ing officiating crew.

Who is your stud or slump?

Well put on all accounts.

Respect to Worley for surviving that beating. Cant see him making it through the entire season healthy if the OL continues to blow that bad.

Would love to be able to shake Barnett, Sutton, and Worley's hands.

Barnett and Sutton are beasts, and Worley did amazing given the protection he was getting. He is light years ahead of where he was last year.

So effing true. I swear. I probably drank too much since I'm even posting but Croom needs too buy some hands and he would be the next Calvin Johnson. But feet don't help him much as hands

Studs:

North threw some mean stiff arms and took a catch an extra 6-8 yards a few times tonight

Sutton, well, being Cam Sutton.

Hurd. I liked what I saw today. Nearly out ran that Oklahoma db.

Coleman: Kid played a good game and caused the int to end the half.

Dline: Forgot to mention them in my original post but dline held their own. Just need to follow through with the sacks.

Slumps:

Croom had two big drops. One a touch down and another a 1st down (which he did have a defender all on him)

Oline and TE: whiffed at blocked their guys multiple times

Bajakian had very questionable play calling on multiple occasions tonight.

And devrins 12 years has to be up soon. I mean I wish I could've gotten 12 years eligibility. Seriously kneel the dang ball. Defense is exciting to watch.

Devrin Young stumbles to the 20 yard line every single time like he doesn't want to get hit and when he does, he fumbles. What ever happened to Evan Berry? Every team kicks it to devrin as they want him to run the ball as they know he will run up the right seem every SINGLE time straight ahead.................My goodness, he is bad at running kicks....

Hell, wtf in orange WASN'T being held tonight?!?!?

Not just being held, but on two occasions being literally horse collared to the ground by the O-lineman. And another two where the DL was being pulled, not pushed, but pulled to the ground by the OL. When in my 37 years is that not a holding call? It's still on my dvr if anybody needs proof. Geez, that runs all over me!

Studs:

Worley
Hurd (rushing, receiving, and pass blocking)
North (throw the fades to him, he's unstoppable)
DLine
AJ
Barnett
Sutton

Slumps:
Croom
OLine (but they'll get there)
Upper classmen's speed
Darr
3&2 inside OU 10 and we call a pass and Worley forces it.

Hot Trash:
Refs (my gawd they gave them some crucial plays)

Slumps
- Obviously the O-line was just pitiful, maybe worst in the SEC.
- Croom is just never going to be dominant like some thought he would.
- Some blown coverages on D, but its to be expected given the circumstances.
- Darr
- Stop running the damn pig sweep and so many wr screens against fast defenses.
- It REALLY hurt us not having Wolf and Von for those quick passes. No one mentions this even though they caught a huge amount of the quick hot passes in our first two games.

Studs
- Hurd showed the spark we've been looking for.
- Worley can still walk
- Our D overall was impressive. I was proud of the way they fought.
- Josh Smith is a really solid player this year.
- North was really solid as usual.
- Worley made some good throws even after being obliterated.
- We came within a few plays of being right there and maybe beating a top 5 veteran team. Two endzone picks and the fumble or a few holds and were right there.

Proud of the Vols tonight.

Oh trust me, I was mentioning it. As I was almost brought to tears in frustration. My fiancee can vouch that I prayed that they were both in the game. I really do think if Wolf was in the game our offense would have looked soooooo much different.
