He's seriously trying to tell me South Carolina's stadium is louder, better and more passionate than Tennessee's.

I'm furious and laughing at the same time.

I've been to a couple of games at WBS. It's nice, good atmosphere, good experience...

...but it ain't Neyland.

If recently it is because they are winning. Let us win a few more than we have and nothing beats neyland.

I personally would never:

1)be a cock fan
2) be that stupid (no offense)

Personally neither would I luckily I chose UT lol.

I will say though the crowd in Neyland now vs when I went to UT in the 90s is nothing like it used to be. I remember wondering why we need seats because we never sat down and now there are people yelling at you to sit down because they cant see.

Of course that's the difference between the student section and section S so maybe it is all perspective.

It is a ridiculous statement just pointing out fans tend to always think their team, stadium, band....whatever is the best in the world.

Would agree with this. Neyland is loud when Vols are winning, but we get eerily quiet when the game starts slipping away.

I remember in the Arkansas game in 1998 it was cold, raining, and half the stadium was gone but it was one of the loudest games I have been to. Maybe the only two louder were 98 Florida and 06 Cal.

I haven't heard it anywhere near that loud at any game since. It has gotten a lot more quiet especially when down by a couple TDs. If you can speak to who is sitting next to you in a normal voice on 3rd down for the opposing team something is wrong!

ALL SEC Fans are passionate, I have been to WBS.....your brother is just trying to push your buttons, anyone that has been around the SEC knows that Neyland is the standard for all future stadiums, heck! the stadium that it gets any comparision is up north in Michigan, I heard they use to have a football program :)

Based on the records of both teams over the last several years. I would say the atmosphere is better at SC. The atmosphere kinda sucks when you're topping out at 5 wins.

But this is getting ready to change. Hopefully, very soon.

I'm sure they're really fired up now. After 50 years of losing they are so excited to be a contender they're going to make a lot of noise. Give it a few more years and things will be back to normal - meaning they're the second best team in the state of South Carolina, and a celler deweller in the SEC East.

The 90' Notre Dame game was the loudest game I have ever experienced...until Rocket turned the corner.

Only thing that might be better than Neyland, would have been at LLWS game yesterday. Well maybe not- a close second.

Are we talking Neyland in '99 standing on the seats?

Or

Neyland against Troy under Dooley when all of us could have fit in the lower bowl?

I know he's blood and all and I usually refrain from casting disparaging remarks against one's family but your brother...

You're on a roll with dumb posts today. Record doesn't have much to do with it in this case. UGA and SC games last year were louder than probably any in the history of WBS.
