With what we know now from the practice, starting QB named (Worley), etc... Predict the USU Game score, and the rest of the season based off that. Should be interesting.

vs. USU W 34-31
vs. Arky State W 41-17
@ Oklahoma L 52-14
@ Georgia L 35-21
vs. Florida L 24-17
vs. Chattanooga W 38-3
@ Ole Miss L 31-21
vs. Alabama L 35-10
@ South Carolina L 28-27
vs. Kentucky W 31-23
vs. Missouri W 41-38
@ Vanderbilt W 38-10

If I post all the scores now, it would give an unfair advantage to the "for entertainment only" bookies.

Like CBJ and other individuals with great mental toughness, I always like to take it one game at a time. With the "Power of One" in mind, my score prediction is:

UT 31
USU 20

USU shows up to play but the Vols get a little breathing room with a long 4th quarter drive to seal the deal.

Edit: BINGO!!!!

Ain't happening. We score more points, give up fewer.

We beat the Gators at home to get that monkey off our back and possibly pull off another upset somewhere along the way. We get the upset because we will be greatly underestimated. Even our own fans are non-believers (just watch how badly I get flamed for predicting a possible 8 win season). We give everyone the benefit of the doubt when making predictions, except of course, our Vols. Youth will be served, 8-4.:pepper::pepper::pepper:

vs. Florida L 17-14

Now remember, I don't know anything and college football is unpredictable.

With that in mind nothing you just read matters. At all.

Lol I'm surprised you only think 6 wins yet a close loss to Oklahoma? They could surely get 1upset then!

Not sure about scores except that I think USU will be more comfortable than many think and that UT will NOT lose to the team that returns the fewest starters (8) and lettermen (39) in the SEC if not the nation. Especially not in the 11th game of the season.

Hoping for a 34-17 game against USU and 7-5 for the season.

Wins: USU, Ark St, UTC, UF, Mizzou, Vandy, UK

Losses: Oklahoma, UGA, Bama, Ole Miss, S. Carolina

The losses will be closer than they have been as of late.

I see 8-4 as a real possibility. Florida is as down as we are this year. Georgia was hyped the past two years and we played them close, plus Murray is gone.

8-4 Worley is a fantastic game manager, makes some throws that win us a couple games and has a decent run or two. North has 1k receiving, Lane has 800 rushing with Hurd getting 500. Our D and QB play are noticeably better. We get the Gator monkey off our back at home. We show Vandy what happens when we retain a competent coach that actually attempts to recruit. USU lingers for the whole first half only trailing 20-14 at half, but then we take over on O to start the 3rd quarter and score on the drive they punt we kick a field goal they punt we punt they punt we score another TD because they're exhausted after chasing Vic, Malone, Smith, Von, North, Croom and pig and being run over by Wolf, Hurd and Lane. Vereen, Maggit, Bates, AJ and Cam Sutton get very friendly with Chuckie Keeton delivering a defensive effort to the tune of 2 sacks, 2 ints. 89 yards passing 11 yards rushing for Chuckie and a total of 71 yards rushing as a team. Lane will have 108 yards Hurd coming in at 62 yards throw in some from end arounds, Worley tucking it for a wide open first down and we are over 200 on the ground for the day... Yeah pretty low actually but Worley spreads the love and throws for 200+ also. Croom, Wolf, Lane, North have TD's Butch uses the game to test the kickers with 3 field goals.

yes.. that is 8-4, flame away because rants by people with an IQ less then their shoe size don't phase me. Last time we fielded a team with this much talent we had 10 wins.. going 2 less due to lack of experience. (2015 we win SEC)

Lane and Hurd both go 1k+

Worley goes 3k+ passing

OL keeps sacks under 10 for the year

Front 7 on defense have 25+ sacks on the year

our DB's average an INT per game
