It was, nevertheless, an impressive turnout for the Vols!

It's really amazing to see such fan support. We have had 4 losing seasons in a row and still have over 68,000 fans show up to a spring game. It's going to be awesome when we start winning games again.

I think A-Day has caught on to the point where 75-80k will be the average from year-to-year.

That 72,000 at Penn State looks like a "shoot from the hip" number. It's sort of like Volnation posters using the SWAG method to guess attendance at some of last year's games by factoring in how people the empty sections would've seated had those seats been occupied. Don't believe round even numbers especially when it comes to attendance.
