Part of me wonders just how much this played into things. He was really our only viable option all season from an experience and readiness standpoint.

True, maybe ... but I'm afraid he was moving against defenses significantly better than ours looked today. Having said that, it's hard to get a real read in a spring "game." Overall, I'm optimistic.

Yes he's injured. And buried and the depth chart anyways
