So I am hunting for one of these for the mancave and I googled but came up empty. The only site that had them now says they are in negotiations for licensees with the NCAA. I know that I have seen post in here with folks that have made them before. Any help?

Apparently there is a guy that sells them right outside of Neyland on game days. That's what I'm banking on when football season rolls back around. I'm looking for one for my mancave too.

Not sure if he'll be there for the OW game or not, but I've always heard he has a small stand and sells the signs. Can anyone confirm this?

Yes, that was indeed true as of 4-5 years ago. I haven't looked for him in recent seasons.

I can actually get the decal ones, you can put on car windows or the wall, planing on putting them up on eBay pretty soon if anyone's interested, I'll bump the URL when I have time to do it.

I saw a guy last year selling some in the parking lot across from gate 21 last year.

Edit: Wasn't O/W game though.

Try to GOOGLE custom signs and banners. Sometimes you may be surprised what you find this way. Actually, there's a T-shirt guy here in Ky who may be able to do that.

Another option is to make your own. GOOGLE: Tennessee shape decals to get the shaped material. Print to fit the decal and paste or glue it on. may have to do trial and error fits, but you'd eventually have it. Use your imagination, guys.

I found a guy on ebay once in Sweetwater, TN who custom made me one that was 4' x 1' on 1/2" commercial plywood. Looks GREAT in the man cave. Big sign, painted in the pantone 151 from Home Depot.

He still does. I saw him outside Gate 21 after the UGA game last year. I believe that he was selling them for $45 or $50. They looked really nice.

Might be able to turn something like this into a pretty cool project. I'm picturing staining it a light stain and then putting sticker letters on it and staining a dark stain over that. Think it would look pretty cool

Edit: Of course you could probably get away with cutting your own with a jigsaw and pick out a piece of whatever kind of wood you want and save a couple of $$

A buddy of mine bought one from a guy outside gate 21 last year. No stand he was just walking around selling them for $40.

if i remember correctly the guy was selling them across the street from gate 21 right where the barracades and parking lot are they were $40.

Yeah I got a wood one 2 seasons ago. He had a business card with it. Ill try to dig the card up for ya
I searched forever and saw him. Didnt even haggle on price since i was so excited to finally get one

Found one at a sports store in Kingsport about 2 years ago. Never seen one since. Glad I bought it then.

I believe the guy who sold them outside stadium has now had the clamps put down on him. Glad I got mine b4 the University swung its big stick. Maybe they will license and sell them in book store if there is perceived demand.

There use to be a guy on volnation that made them & sold them. Can't remember his name though. May be same guy that sells them at the game.
