As some of you know, I'm 17. And my high school graduation present from my parents is coming up and I want UT Season tickets, but I'm not sure if there is a donation requirement, or if the seats I get won't even be worth it for a price under 2k. Basically what I'm asking is, would it be better for me to scalp every game next year or buy Season tix now. Thanks.

Last year they had tickets in the upper endzone seats for just the price of the tickets without a donation. Not sure if they will this year depends on how season ticket sales go I suspect.

You can get some decent seats in the North or South Endzone Upper deck for a $500 donation (total would be about $1275).

Look in XX1 through ZZ15. Pretty good value for what it is. Seats have a great view, their in the lower part of the upper deck, have the larger concourse behind them, etc.

Although you probably would save some if you scalped.

You just have to decide if you want the same seats every week and if moving around and sweating finding seats bothers you.

They still have season tickets for $300 apiece in the south ene zone and the seats aren't all that bad for the price.

If you are going to donate the $500 for a season ticket (80% of the donation is tax deductible), contact the Tennessee Fund Office. Tennessee Fund | Support University of Tennessee Athletics

For the $500/per seat donation, you can get a seat in the North End Zone Upper Deck with the seatback chairs (not bleachers) and they are under cover. Row 20 and above will typically keep you out of any bad weather. Section YY9 is in the center of the end zone.

You might also consider reaching out to the Upstate SC Alumni Group for assistance. I've played in their Alumni Golf tournaments in the past and there are some good people down there. Do you plan to keep season tickets past this year? If you do then I recommend donating and joining the TN Fund, because joining at your age, you will eventually have a great donor rank.

Otherwise buying individual tickets each game or buying season tickets from someone on here or eBay may be better.

For the time being, why not buy tickets off Stub Hub, trying out different sections, until you find the section that you most enjoy. Even accounting for the premium SEC tics you will come out better in the long run. Once UT is up and rolling again, it will be a different story but for the time being........

I plan on enrolling at UT to pursue my masters degree this summer. Does anyone know if I will be able to buy a student ticket for my wife also or is it one ticket per student?

You can get a guest ticket. I believe you pay face value for guest tickets, but they get to stand in the student section with you.

Current students will be able to answer better than me though...
