Back From Athens
Great trip. Beautiful weather. Cool SEC town to visit. Good time with the fans. Incredible friggin' game.

And, to top it all off, we got to park in a campus garage for free and tailgate on top! What a novel concept.

Anyway, to all who were there: thanks for the memories. Successful road trips rock.

Me too. I think I ended up parking somewhere near the South Carolina border.

Take the south Athens loop (10?) off of 316. Exit College Station and turn left (toward campus). Take a quick right onto Alumni/New River Drive. There is a massive parking garage about 1/4 mile down on the left, and plenty of other lots nearby, marked "Free Football Parking." We set up shop in an end space on top and watched football in the shade of our Orange and White tent, grilled some steaks, and shot the bull with a number of fans from both schools.
