Makes you wonder. I'll be honest. I don't have the warm fuzzys about the NC State game. I think we will be really good this year but there is something about this game that concerns me.

The analysts are all latching onto NC State because they slept on them last year. This year they've decided to ignore the team's weaknesses in the hopes of looking clever at the end of the year.

As for Mizzou, are people really sleeping on them? That's a team with a plethora of unknowns surrounding them. I wouldn't really look at it as overlooking a team if you have concerns.

I do see three of those teams being sneaky good and the fourth does have a nice set up for an upset. NC State will be better than many of their ACC brethren, and could win eight or nine regular season games. Utah is in the same boat as the Wolfpack. Georgia Tech could win eight or nine based on a forgiving schedule, but the lack of a receiving threat leads me to believe it will be more like seven. Missouri can upset Georgia in Week 2; in fact, they probably should. For Mizzou, that's the difference between being a winning team and going. 500.

I agree with Mizzou. They have the potential to be a mid level SEC team and causing some disruption in the East. Thats the great thing about college football. You never know going into the season. All I know is that I CAN NOT wait until we kick off against NC State and shut up all the people who look past Tennessee.

I've unfortunately turned into almost a football pessimist over the past few years. Still, I even believe that we will beat NCSU by two touchdowns.
