It is definately possible (1) A 12 game schedule (2) some of the non conference teams will likely have weak secondaries.

I doudt it will happen because the receiving corps will consist of alot of players who share the ball.

Patterson will get a few, Neal will get a few, Dallas will get a few. Pig will get a few, Zack will get a few, Da Rick will get alot, Rivera will get alot, Hunter will get alot, Lane will get a lot, Crooms will get a few, Downs will get a few.

The one's who contribute some will get between 100 and 200 yards for the season, then Rivera will get 600, then Hunter will get 1,000, Then Rogers will get 1000, then Patterson will get 600.

That is 4,600 passing yards in a season In addition to that not all of the passes will be caught.
So, in 600 attempts in the season, only 425 will be caught, so those non catches are lost yardage.

I doudt we will get 3 1,000 yard receivers.

Once again how in God's name is this "homerism" when I never predicted them to do it.

Even asking yourself the question when you're alone with your thoughts is homerific.

if all 3 stay active on the team all year, none will top 1000 yards.

they really will try to run the ball. they have to be successful running the football or the iwn total will only move up a notch from last year.

Will not win in this league throwing ball all over the place. Have to run for 1500 plus to hope to get to 9 wins.

This is the best I can find -- Houston 2011 -- missed by 42 yds.

Patrick Edwards 1752 (19.7)
Justin Johnson 1229 (14.1)
Tyron Carrier 958 (10.0)

Houston threw for 6,301 yds (Keenum 5,631), which is about 1,700 more than any SEC team in history (T. Couch UK 1998 4,611).

They also ran for >1,800 yds.

Ryan Grice-Mullen WR- 1372 yards

Davone Bess WR- 1266 yards

Jason Rivers WR- 1174 yards

Plenty of yards to go around if the run game doesn't improve. Especially if the defense can get off the field.

If we don't take our foot off the gas on our powder puff opponents then it could happen.

I'm just not sure that is CDD's style though.

We have 3 guys on pace for 1,000 yards (assuming we play in a bowl game).
